S. l.: By the author, 1930. Very good. Collage, n. d. (1930s); 8 1/2 x 9; mixed technique - laid-on, die-cut images, watercolors, and pencil; signature of author in black ink unreadable; a few small spots to margins; in very good condition. A beautiful, spirited, handmade propaganda poster, almost entirely in shades of red, it depicted on one side larger-than-life Lenin, with his customary pointing towards a brighter future, and a Red Army truck full of soldiers in the background. Across was a cut-out of a slyly-grinning Stalin on the forefront of a large industrial complex. The text was painted in vivid red and blue colors.
