With the stamp of Cahiers du Cinema on the verso, along with manuscript pencil and ink annotations.

Based on Cornell Woolrich's 1947 novel "Waltz into Darkness." A wealthy plantation owner on an island in the Indian Ocean anticipates the arrival of his bride-to-be, but is surprised to discover the woman who arrives from France bears no resemblance to the woman in the photograph.
