Bound in publisher's brown cloth with titles and musical score decorations in gilt, black and red on front board and spine. Top edge gilt though now largely dulled. Beveled edges. Illustrations of the composers featured including tissue-guarded frontis photographic plate of Franz Liszt. Square, tight and clean throughout with quite light toning to page edges. Odd off-setting to rear paste-down and the verso of the contents page that looks like a fabric or animal skin dust-jacket covered the book at one time. A few smudges here and there and fairly minor wear to spine end and tips. Cloth lightly toned. A very pretty collectable copy at a great price.
