Light shelf wear, endpaper margins quite browned, occasional spotting throughout textblock, contemporary ownership signature to front free endpaper and 20th century ownership rubberstamp to front pastedown, else Very Good and sound.

Collection of discourses "especially for the instruction and edification of young people; to...awaken their highest solicitude to walk with the wise, and fly the way of evil men" (title page). Concludes with an enormous subscriber's list (eleven women only), and errata printed at the end of p. 305 which concludes "In several [pages] there is an omission of the comma, which the learned reader will naturally correct."
