By J.M. Barrie (Retold by May Byron)
First Edition Thus/First Printing with the Scribner Seal and the letter "A"; A Near Fine book in a Good or better dust jacket. This is the retelling by May Byron, illustrated by the great Arthur Rackham, published in 1930 by Scribner's; somewhat uncommon in the original dust jacket. This copy is in near fine condition showing some light age-toning to the text block, some mild rubbing to the board edges, and a few small chips out of the bottom corners of pages 45-57 (does not affect text). Housed in a clean and bright good or better dust jacket that shows a couple of large chips out of the spine head, a few short tears to the panel edges, and some light rubbing to the edges and corners. Overall, a handsome copy of a beloved children's book; Not remaindered, not price clipped ($1.00 intact), not ex-library; in a fresh Mylar sleeve and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
