New York: Artists Equity Fund, 1953. Pictorial wrappers. Near Fine. Vertes, Antonio Frasconi, Milton Avery, Jack Levine, etc.. Lavish 1950s commemoration of the annual masquerade ball held at the Hotel Astor, New York. Made up of wonderfully, beautifully-illustrated local ads in support of the ball. The ads are illustrated by artists such as Saul Steinberg, Frasconi, Milton Avery, Vertes, Jack Levine, Reginald Marsh, et al. Clean and Near Fine in its comb-bound card wrappers, with one tiny closed tear along the front panel's top-edge. A nice piece of post-War New York graphic and advertising history.
