Flexible black cloth boards, spine lettered in white, with a mounted photo of Beard on the front cover. This volume t contains: 1. "A Conversation with Peter Beard," by Steven Aronson, 2. A handwritten facsimile essay by Peter Beard, "From Biology to Photography," 3. A picture Index for the elephant folio, and 4. a bibliography of all of Beard's publications and exhibitions. Two of the spine title letters are partially effaced but still readable, otherwise a fine copy.

Note: This is the companion volume to Peter Beard's elephant folio entitled "Peter Beard," and also served as the catalog to the travelling public exhibition of his work that contained 380 of his photographs.
