Written by the author after his trip in East Africa, where he expresses at the end of the volume his admiration for the peoples of the region and especially the Maasai. He had already written the Spellsinger series but now issues his first hardcover book, a masterpiece. It includes evil from another world, an FBI agent, an Oxford-educated Maasai witch doctor and a beautiful young woman tourist to track the evil into the "out of".
