JONATHAN TRUMBULL SR. (1710-1785). Trumbull was the last colonial Governor and first statehood Governor of Connecticut. DS. 1pg. September 15, 1763. Lebanon, Connecticut Colony. A partly-printed document signed “Jonth Trumbull” as a Windham County, Connecticut probate court judge. The document is a warrant to the Sherriff of Windham County and Constables of the town of Lebanon, concerning a Bezeleel Badger, who was in debt. The details of the case are hand-written in cramped spaces between the typed lines and can be difficult to read. The document is in good condition with unevenly torn and curled edges and a large stain. (Inventory #: 5900)
