Twenty-six bird portrait wood engravings by Robinson are arranged alphabetically. Each engraving is accompanied with an initial letter and the Latin and common names hand lettered by Suzanne Moore. An extra suite of 26 engravings, each signed by Robinson, are laid into a chemise. A set of the alphabet blind-stamped by Suzanne Moore is laid into a separate chemise, along with an original watercolor by Robinson of a Roadrunner. Finely printed by Harold McGrath and bound by Gary Parrot. A fine set, housed in a vellum-backed clamshell cased. The cloth of the case has some spotting else it is in fine condition as well. The Prospectus is laid-in.
