There are also additional text revisions undertaken with the use of printed, applied overlays. The text is illustrated throughout the three volumes.

A complete set of detailed instructions for the use of artillery; particularly the French 75 mm and 155 mm. gun. These English language notes are based on the 1917 French originals from the artillery school at Saumur. The contents for a unit of instruction carrying on from reconnaissance and occupation of positions, organization of batteries, and adjustment of fire for effect. These are supplemented with appendices that cover such things as liaison and aerial observation (emphasized as important to the battle front), etc.
