Joseph Winn Fiske (1832-1903) was a New York industrialist whose firm manufactured hammered copper weather vanes, iron stable fittings, railings, and the decorative cast iron often seen on Civil War memorials. There is a two-page spread advertising for J.W. Fiske & Company, 120 Nassau street, New York City, in the ads at back of this copy.
