Record of "a motor journey through the wine country of France, and adventure devoted chiefly to Bordeaux and Burgundy" (from the jacket flap). Gladys Bronwyn Stern (1890-1973) was the author of more than a dozen novels and short story collections. Clean and sound in pale green cloth-covered boards, decorated in yellow and oxblood. In an attractively designed dust jacket, with an illustration by "Herbert...?" printed in red, green, black, and yellow. Some small edge chips to dust jacket, and some color bleeding visible on the verso of the jacket. Still, near fine, in a very good dust jacket.
