Lovely illustrations on every page with story text and several small religious rhymes. Particularly endearing is the illustration of Sally feeding her pet lamb from a spoon.

One of the many little booklets produced by the interdenominational American Sunday-School Union in Philadelphia (1824-1853 at this address) to teach moral truths, promote literacy, and aid in the spiritual development of children. Dating of this chapbook is based on the address of both the Union in Philadelphia and Lawrence Johnson's print business from 1825-1850.
