The collection includes nineteen 8 x 10 inch photographs, and six small borderless photographs, four of which have Langford's signature from the negative, one 8 x 10 negative, one 5.5 x 8 inch postcard from Langford's 1944 film "Career Girl," directed by Wallace Fox, and one copy of "TV Guide" magazine from Feb. 8, 1952, featuring Langford and Don Ameche on the cover, promoting the ABC variety show, "The Frances Langford-Don Ameche Show."
Known as the "GI Nightingale," Langford was a singer and actress who came to prominence during the (truncated)
