Foxing and light soiling to endpapers and small faint dampstain to flyleaves and frontispiece. Binding is firm and sound. Pages are clean and unmarked. A solid and overall quite attractive 1926 fifth edition of this collection of sea songs and shanties, illustrated throughout. CW: the publisher's preface to this edition uses the N-word when referring to the Black sailors who possibly coined the term "shanty songs.
