Advertising brochure inviting to vacation on the the island Wangerooge at the 'German Sea,' (its name Nordsee tweaked in stride with the nationalistic tenor of the time in Germany). Profusely illustrated with striking gravure prints in sepia tone, introducing the island and its cultural environment , highlighting its reputation as a health spa center since 1864. Contains guide to infrastructure, sports and cultural events, a description of the general climate condition, board and lodging, the curative highlights of the island, route descriptions to Wangerooge from several starting points in Germany, and the ordinance for surtaxes. Last page with panorama shot of Wangerooge and the beach.

This photo-illustrated guide to hotels, pensions, and 'Airbnbs' of members of the registered association, stresses the island's canon: "the customer comes first," and requests to address complaints directly to the association. Profusely illustrated with gravure prints of hotels, pensions and spas, private lodging, including detailed listing of names, addresses, details of accommodations, and prices. Hotels and pensions feature feature illustrated ads while smaller entities at rear with smaller illustrated , respectively classified ads. The combination of these two items was most likely distributed together.
