A publisher's prospectus advertising an American West title by John C. Van Tramp, to be bound in the buyer's choice of either "Embossed" or "full Leather Library Binding," and "illustrated with Engravings of Western Scenery, Incidents of Travel, Hunting Scenes, Prairie Life and Adventures." At 750 pages this would have be a hefty volume. Binding costs were $4.50 for "Embosed Leather" and $4.75 for a "Full Leather Library Binding."
