Bound to style in full leather, bands on the spine and a red leather lettering label. Significant staning from age and the old leather binding; the textblock is in good condition only. The binding is fine.
Moncrief's Receipts are mostly English translations of of treatment from the 16th century Thesaurus Pauperum, but even this made his work hugely successful. The first edition was published in 1712. Even so these editions are scarce in commerce.
