Spine in 5 uneven compartment wirh raise bands, gilt, and with gilt title and a depiction of Excalibur. Distinctive Cockerel marbled paper is inset into the upper and lower boards, which are tooled with blind rules. The upper board features a gilt 'A' bearing a crown. Top edge gilt. Marbled endpaper, with the stamp of Sangorski and Sutcliffe on the bottom margin of the inside upper board. A fine copy. In publisher's simple card slipcase showing wear the the folds (truncated)
