Lightly rubbed at corners and board edges; occasional light pencil marginalia (with longer discursions on several endpapers), a few leaves browned from laid-in notes and clippings; Very Good overall, with attractive shelf presence and the text quite fresh and readable.

Each volume bears a 1928 gift inscription from Margaret C. Meagher to Richard Leo Meagher, Jr. (whose notes are presumably those in the text). Meagher was a prominent Virginia architect, a mid-century modernist whose residential commissions (truncated) included at least one historically-listed property ("Boxerwood" in Rockbridge County).
