The Commission was chaired by Elizabeth Gurley Flynn, and Claudia Jones was its secretary. This issue gives a brief history of International Women's Day, an overview of contemporary struggles for equality, and a call to make March "Party Women's Month," with efforts to develop women cadres and educate men about the nature of sexism.
