Denver Colo." on title page; illustrated throughout with lithographs from engravings; wear to boards with loss at corners, lightly age toned paper; very good. A popular and useful illustrated guidebook that takes the traveler from the Missouri River to Denver and then across the Rocky Mountains. Packed with useful information about the geography, topography, and destination cities. The indexes in the rear include Towns and Points of Interest, and Train Stations.

The title page bears the bookseller's stamp, Barkalow Bros., Union Depot, Denver, Colo. They were sellers of postcards, travel brochures and books, as well as food vendors from about 1991 to 1920 at the Union Depot.
