In the publisher's dust jacket, no price listed, some rubbing to corners, soiling to bottom of rear panel. A few closed tears, one held shut with archival paste. Illustrations remain clear and visible. Inscribed on the front free endpaper: "with best wishes, E.V. White." This scarce work is a collection of ethnic humor and racist mores about African Americans in the southern United States. It preceded Senegambian Sizzles: Negro Stories, published by White in 1945.
