Pages 41 and 42 bottom left corner is chipped with partial loss of print in the lower left corner. Rest of the contents are complete. Light toning and foxing to the contents. Scarce Washington, Georgia imprint. The editor Jesse Mercer, 1769-1841, was a Baptist Minister who moved to Washington, Georgia in the 1820's. He was Pastor of the Washington, Georgia Baptist Church and one of the founders and the first leader of the Georgia Baptist Convention. He published two newspapers (truncated)
