[Westline, MI]: Dairy Dan Inc, 1962. Near fine.. Archive of original signage for Dairy Dan, a national soft-serve ice cream truck franchise founded by Alvin "Buddy" Rothstein. The signs included in the archive advertise various Dairy Dan treats, primarily different sundaes like the "Butter Scot" or "Cobbler Cherry," with humorous slogans and graphic illustrations in cartoon-style typical of the period. Charming. Approximately 24 pieces of full-color signage: four tent cards, scored but unfolded (3" x 4"); one uncut sheet of ten small signs (6" x 10.75"); ten individual signs for various sundaes (14" x 9"); and nine larger signs (18" x 9"). Tent cards screen-printed, rest offset. Overall bright and sharp.
