Beijing: Xinchao shudian, 1951. First edition, 7" x 5", pp. [4], 2, 10, 208 ; text in Chinese, printed paper wrappers with a vignette of the American flag made of skulls and bones on front wrapper; ex-library, with spine label, library stamps, and residue of a bookplate on inside lower wrapper. A few pages dogeared, some shallow chipping on a few pages, and a couple of red tick-marks in text. Good. This copy came from the library of 中國人民侎衛世界和平反對美國侵畧員會 or "Chinese People's Committee to Preserve World Peace and to Oppose American Aggression." The committee was established to generate popular sentiment against the United States and support China's position in the Korean war. Columbia, Stanford, Harvard, and University of Michigan in OCLC, plus three copies in China.
