Collection of 26 photographs of Zhou Enlai

n.p., 1976. 26 photographs, 24 about 8" x 6", one 3" x 10.25" and one 4" x 10", all photographs of Zhou Enlai, from a young adult to his death and funeral; 21 photos part of an incomplete numbered run lacking nos. 5, 12 and 22, the others apparantly out of series; one photograph creased at the corners, one photo with an abrasian just touching the edge of the image, otherwise generally fine. Zhou Enlai was Premier of the PRC and Mao Zedong's second in command. He was a popular member of communist leadership, and his death lead to a national period of mourning despite attempts to suppress it. These photos of Zhou Enlai were likely produced as a set to commemorate his death and are known images from a variety of sources.
