Blue cloth boards with blindstamped letters to front board and gilt lettering to spine, under pictorial dust jacket, 7-5/8" tall. Edition not stated; during this era Harcourt usually stated first edition. Minor fading to spine panel, rubbing to rear panel. Generally a lovely copy of a book uncommon in jacket, much less so signed. Debut novel; author had a connection with Hemingway while they were both in Paris.
