New York: The Rand School of Social Science, 1919. First Edition. Very good. Author, journalist, war correspondent, and labor organizer Albert Rhys Williams (1883 - 1962) spent fifteen months in Russia in 1917 - 1918, travelling, meeting Lenin and Trotzky, and living among peasants and Red Army soldiers. His current booklet gave the American readers an introduction to the Soviet Union, writing "the truth and only the truth" and thus rebuffing the "lies" about Russia's new political regime.
