Inscribed and signed by the author in Yiddish on the half-title page. Original Yiddish edition. Also known in English as "In the Bunker" the book is Chaim Itsl Goldstein's memoir of his experiences during the Holocaust, including in time in Auschwitz, his time working in the ruins of the Warsaw Ghetto, and his survival of the Warsaw Uprising. The name of the work comes from his time hiding in a ruined bunker between the end of the failed uprising and the city's liberation. Text in Yiddish.
