Small 8vo (6.25 x 5 inches), original embossed parchment over boards, [64] pages on laid paper, untrimmed. A presentation copy, inscribed in autograph ink in a fine hand on the dedication page and signed by Schiller.A collection of examples of types designed by Schiller (1858-1937), the sometime imperial punchcutter, commercial type designer, and instructor at the Akademie für das Buchgewerbe in Leipzig, the examples ranging from his blackletters Borussia and Lyrisch, to the 1903 typeface Germania, and his antique typeface Venetia. Includes borders and ornaments.
