Meiera [V Tekste Snimki s 6 Original'nykh Dokumentov Nikogda ne Poiavliavshikhsia v Russkoi Pechati])An unrecorded printing of a book with the statements of Ivan Leopoldovich Meier, which appeared in the German journal "7 Tage" in 1956 in the matter of the deaths of the members of the Romanov Family. Meier was a soldier in the Austrian Army who was taken as a prisoner of war and send to Siberia in 1916. In his own words, after being released by the Bolsheviks he joined the Red Army's ranks in order to "not die of starvation." He was allegedly present during the meeting at which the death sentence for the Imperial Family was passed, in the aftermath of the killings while the details report was written, and at the burial place where Tsar Nicholas and his wife and children were disposed of. He also possessed documents with the names of all those who took part in the murders. He kept them a secret for 38 years.
