On the summit, for 15 cents, you can register for your name to be printed for posterity in the Pikes Peak Daily News. Lunch is available at the Summit house, costing 20 cents for a sandwich. Or you can eat a daily offering of trout or chicken at the Glen Cove Inn for $1.25 a plate. Picture-taking services are offered as well. A well-designed practical guide for the Pikes Peak visitor, with advertising by restaurants still in business today.
