The color map on the first page illustrates all the stops throughout the continental United States as well as Canada, Great Britain and Honolulu. The East and West Line schedules on the inside covers describe each stop with time estimates. Seven pages describe the Salt Lake City Grey line sightseeing tours, all of which begin at the Newhouse Hotel. Seven tours were offered: City and Wasatch Drive (the feature trip); Bingham Copper Mines; Wasatch Drive and Big Cottonwood Canyon; Saltair Beach on Great Salt Lake; Seeing Salt Lake City (busses); Seeing Salt Lake City (in seven pass. cars) and Mt. Timpanogos Circle. On the Saltair Beach tour, you could visit the picturesque Saltair resort and float like a cork on the "Dead Sea of America", the Great Salt Lake with its 22 percent salt, or visit Antelope Island with 300 wild buffalo. At the Bingham Copper Mine, you could witness the moving of a mountain to extract large quantities of low-grade ore and note miners's cabins clinging to the sides of a gulch. Minerals, coal, Iron, steel and the recent discovery of oil are touted as undeveloped resources. For $6.50 you could explore the mountains and valley, grottos and a lake formed from the Timpanogos (meaning Sleeping Princess) Glacier. On the City tour, you would view the grandeur of the canyons, the gothic Temple, dome-roofed Tabernacle, the homes of early Mormon leaders, the valley where the first irrigation system originated and more. Illustrations include famous buildings, mountains and activities.
