A postmodern post-apocalyptic novel deal with a fallen civilization focused around a community named "iDEATH". Michael McClure has praised "In Watermelon Sugar". Also Harry Styles in "Tiny Desk Concert, the League of Extraordinary Gentleman " and Wally Lamb's "I Know This Much is True. Laid in is an early photograph of Brautigan (circa 1960) from the Bancroft Library at the University of California, Berkeley with a note it is not be reproduced without permission. Here there is youthful look before the long hair and some early aging set in. This is the (truncated) first English edition and rarely signed. A very good copy bound in pictorial paper covered boards, light rubbing to spine ends and corners, tiny spots of foxing to upper page edges, in a very good clipped pictorial dust jacket with some tiny chips along the edges and a couple of short closed tears to front and rear panels.
