Ruth Taylor White (1896-1985) was an American artist who was a celebrated pictorial map creator from the late 1920s to the mid 1940s. She depicted foreign and domestic views in a bright and friendly style that endeared her to the audiences of the day, and inspired generations of pictorial cartographers.
