Bound in green cloth with titles in black on spine. Frontis illustration and two additional full page illustrations. Square, tight and clean throughout with just a touch of off-setting to end-papers but little if any toning. Some softness to the spine ends and some soiling to the hinge gutters. Still quite well-preserved. Very attractive unclipped dust wrapper with ($1.75), has some small chips to the rear flap edge and fold. Mild edge-wear. and light soiling to rear panel. Still quite fresh and bright with no creases or tears and very difficult to find in any condition. A very pretty collectable copy of the author's only mystery. (Hubin, p. 12).
