Published only a year after the First British Edition in 1919. Bound in red cloth with titles in black on front board and spine. Square, tight and clean throughout with mild flaring of board edges. Trivial rubbing to spine ends and mildly toned pages. Some light, scattered spotting to bottom edge. Still quite well-preserved for such a fragile book. Very attractive unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket, 2/6 on spine panel), has toning to spine and folds. mild edge-wear and a miniscule closed tear on the top rear edge. Still a quite fresh and bright example of this iconic cover by Frank Schoonover. A sharp collectable copy and early printings, in such nice condition especially, are quite uncommon.
