New York; (1950): Dodd, Mead and Co. First Edition. Octavo. 243 pages. One of Dorothy L. Sayers favorite writers of detection. He and Milward Kennedy collaborated with Sayers as members of the Detection Club in writing on crime and in fiction. In his letters to Sayers, they often discussed crime methods. A very scarce novel bound in blue gray cloth centrally stamped in white, spine lettered and decorated in white, very minute rubbing to spine ends and corners, near fine in a very good unclipped dust jacket rubbed and with a few nicks to corners, tiny edge tears to rear panel and some fading to spine.
