Titles printed in black on the backstrip and front panel. The boards show minor age toning and a bit of warping, which is often the case with vellum boards. Gentle foxing to endsheets. Includes twelve woodcuts by Frans Masereel (eight are full page). This edition was limited to two hundred numbered copies, this is copy 27. Translated from Flemish to German by Anton Kippenberg.
