Dernieres Oeuvres de Matisse. Editions de la Revue Verve, Paris, 1958 This edition of Verve is dedicated entirely to the last work of Matisse, 1950 – 1954. Illustrated throughout with many color lithographs, in single, double, triple, and quadruple pages. The orange cover was designed by Matisse especially for this edition, the color lithographs were printed by Mourlot, and the heliogravure in black and white by the master printers Draeger Frere. French edition has been issued without a dust jacket. The cover is mildly scratched and worn, the spine has a tear on the bottom. The lithographs and pages inside are all solidly attached to the book and in very good condition.
