The unsigned lead article (pages [1]-8) in this uncommon periodical is titled "Colonization and Slavery. It at least pretends to support colonization for ending the evil of slavery but expresses doubts about the scale and operation of colonization in practice over the past 14 years and as to the prospects for its better success in the future.
