A special promotional issue (apparently issued after the first edition), sent out to solicit advertising for The Saturday Evening Post and having a printed acetate dust jacket in place of the paper dust jacket, as well as an advertising pitch (formerly) affixed to the front pastedown. This copy bears residual glue on the endpages from the promotional sheet, now laid in, and is otherwise fine in a very good, spine-chipped and somewhat cloudy acetate wrapper. Contains "The Waifs" by William Faulkner. Unless otherwise noted, our first editions are first printings. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine.
