Also includes pieces on Ronnie Montrose, Shoes, and the Rubber City Rebels, as well as a review on Suicide's self-titled debut album and a report on Lou Reed's show at the Roxy in Hollywood on March 27, 1978. Among the contributing writers is Lisa Fancher, founder of Frontier Records, the independent label which found success releasing early records by Circle Jerks, Suicidal Tendencies, Redd Kross, Christian Death, and others.
