Boards were cleaned of soil and dyed. The yellow right front flyleaf was removed. Front hinge repaired. Interior contents are foxed with light damp stains. Fair only.
"Sallie Burks La Grange" written on the yellow front paste down. Her inscription is written on the front blank end paper with another owner's name below hers. On the verso of the frontispiece is a gift inscription - "Sallie Burks Presented by her father 1860. " Inscription written on the rear end sheet reads "K L Burks La Grange Troup Co Georgia Jan 4th 1867
