Teddy Bear

Cleveland, OH: Goldsmith Publishing Co, 1922. Paperback. Very Good. Paperback. No. 520 Series. A shape book in side stapled stiff paper wrappers featuring a teddy bear in full color to both wrappers. The story is told in rhyming verse about a teddy bear that goes for a walk, a bike ride, and eventually skating. None of these adventures turn out well, but he does meet friends along the way. Long closed tears to wrappers along spine panel; however, covers remain firmly attached. Creasing to ears of bear and to corners with light wear to edges of wrappers and light rubbing to wrappers. Interior pages are browned and a bit brittle. Offsetting to the insides of the covers and a few finger smudges to margins, but clean overall. Penciled previous owner's gift inscription to inside of front cover. The interior is filled with black and white illustrations with six large full page illustrations. A cute book despited condition issues. Size: 12.5 x 7.25 inches. Unpaginated [16 pages.] CHILD/062524.
