London: Smith, Elder and Co., 1835. First edition. Ten hand-colored plates, two of them beautiful folding panoramas, present views of the island. The title page vignette is a topographical map. Scarce, not in Abbey or Tooley. Two plates have short mended tears in margins, not affecting images, otherwise in near fine condition. Bound in quarter brown calf over marbled boards with red morocco cover label.. Oblong folio, 36.5 cm. (16) pp., title page, hand colored lithograph plates.
