Late 1800's early 1900's Victorian era photograph album form Wyoming

Wyoming, 1800. Photograph Album. Good. Approx. 12" x 9" photograph album. Undated but late 1800's or early 1900's. Album repaired, reconstructed. New green multi color velvet recovered front cover with an opening made for a label, card, etc. Contemporary color illustrated enamel back cover. Original closing clasp is present and in good working condition. All edges gilt. Interior leaves with the photographs had partial tears with some leaves detached. The album leaves were repaired, reassembled, and bound back with a new multi color velvet covered spine.

Album contains 61 photographs of various sizes, a memorial card, a newspaper and one mounted group photograph. During the repairs each leave was removed and inspected for names and locations. Provenance uncertain. Few names found on the back of the photographs. A compiled descriptive list of the photographs and studios are listed below.

Included with the album is a single 1919 issue of "The Highwayman" the "Official Journal of the Twenty-third Regiment" in fair condition with tears. Also include is an 8" x 10" mounted photograph of a group of men posing in front of a building site? The name Thom Jackson (sp.?) is written in pencil on the back. The majority of locations where the photographs were taken are in Wyoming. Photograph descriptions and studios:
