(Sherman Oaks, CA: Ninja Press, 2006. One of 100 copies printed. [34] pp. A second inner cover of flax holds the text and is sewn into the spine with a thin silk purple cord. Several leaves are bound in diagonally and cut at an angle; some images throughout the text are cut to reveal previous and following leaf. Housed in a purple cloth-covered tri-fold case, with green leather-like triangle mounted on inner flap, with matching opening on outer flap, designed to act as a clasp when closed. "In this single, long, prose poem, every paragraph has been given its own page or double- page spread. Each page is embellished with signs and symbols printed in multiple colors which have been inspired by the text.... A horoscope, as well as the multicolored signs and symbols seen throughout the text, are drawn by Carolee Campbell and printed from photopolymer plates. Additional symbols are applied by hand using pure earth pigments." A separate chapbook containing a legend for the text-inspired signs and symbols is laid in, as issued. Very fine copy. Flax-paper covered boards, hand-coated with a mixture of ochre pigment and fine volcanic pumice, over morocco backstrip. Very fine copy.
